Peter Emanuel Falck
John Peter Emanuel Falck (born 15 July 1952) is a Swedish television producer and screenwriter. He has created several Swedish-language daytime television serial dramas. The Stockholm-born son of director Åke Falck, he is a half-brother to author Caroline Falck and criminologist Mikael Rying, Peter's stepmother is Karin Falck; the two have created several television projects together. The first soap opera that he created was ''Lösa förbindelser,'' broadcast in 1985 and featuring Börje Ahlstedt and Evabritt Strandberg. His big breakthrough came in 1987, when he created and wrote the popular series ''Varuhuset''. He and screenwriter Louise Boije af Gennäs co-created the series ''Rederiet'' which premiered on 20 August 1992 on SVT. The series was well-received, and continued on SVT until 2002. Karin Falck
Anna Karin Margareta Falck (; born 6 February 1932) is a Swedish television director, hostess and producer. Career Karin Falck was born in Säffle, Värmland County and lived her first six years of life in Karlstad. She moved with her mother and younger brother to Stockholm when she was 6 years old since her father died. In her youth, she dreamed of playing ice hockey. When Karin Falck started on TV, she had studied theater history and English at Stockholm University, where she wrote an essay on children's theater. She then became an assistant to Elsa Olenius who started Barnteatern (now Vår Teater). She began her TV career in 1954 as a scriptwriter in Alf Sjöberg's TV set of Hamlet. Nils Börje Ahlstedt (born 21 February 1939) is a Swedish actor who has worked extensively with the world-famous director Ingmar Bergman in films like ''Fanny and Alexander'' (1982), ''The Best Intentions'' (1992), '' Sunday's Children'' (1992) and ''Saraband'' (2003). Evabritt Strandberg (born 7 April 1943) is a Swedish actress and singer. Evabritt Strandberg belongs to the artist-rich family Strandberg. She is half-sister to Charlott Strandberg and granddaughter to Olle Strandberg. ''Rederiet'' (''High Seas'' or ''The Shipping Company'') was a (318 episodes) Swedish soap opera that aired on Sveriges Television between August 1992 and April 2002. The cast featured many popular and renowned Swedish actors. The 45-minute episodes were broadcast weekly on Thursday nights on the public-service channel SVT1 and normally had between one and two million viewers. For ten years, ''Rederiet'' was the number-one rated show on Swedish television, along with the rival TV4 show '' Tre Kronor''. ''Andra Avenyn'' (in English ''Second Avenue'') is a Swedish drama series and soap opera, produced by SVT (Swedish Television) and broadcast from 2007 to 2010. Three series were produced. The show was created by Peter Emanuel Falck and Christian Wikander, who also created the Swedish soap operas ''Varuhuset'', ''Rederiet'' and '' Tre kronor''. For the title music, they used the song "Friday I'm in Love" by the British rock band The Cure. The series was shot in Gothenburg for SVT. Interior scenes were recorded in a recording studio, Santos House, on Lindholmen while outdoor scenes were recorded mainly in Kvillestaden/Brämaregården on Hisingen in Gothenburg.
