Peter Dunn (born November 29, 1977) is an American financial author, radio host, television personality, and speaker. Author of ''60 Days to Change: A Daily How-To Guide with Actionable Tips for Improving Your Financial Life'' and founder of Advanced Planning Solutions (a financial education firm), Dunn was host of ''Skills Your Dad Never Taught You'' on NewsTalk 1430 (WXNT Indianapolis). Early life, education and career Dunn was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. By the time he had graduated from Hanover College in 2000, he had his stock broker's license (Series 7). At the age of 20, Dunn started in the financial services industry. He began his financial planning career at MetLife Securities in the summer of 2000. Peter Dunn (engineer)
Peter Douglas Dunn OBE (20 January 1927 – 7 March 2014) was a British engineer. After working at the Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Harwell and jointly holding numerous patents on heat pipes and associated technology with power stations, Prof Peter Dunn joined the Department of Applied Physics in 1964 and started the Department of Engineering at the University of Reading in 1968. As head of department, alongside his friend Dr E. F. Schumacher and through the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Peter Dunn was on the first committees working with Intermediate Technology or Appropriate Technology. These committees led to the formation of the Intermediate Technology Development Group (now Practical Action). He encouraged the Departmental research group to contribute to the developing sectors of intermediate technology. Major General Peter James Dunn AO (born 14 April 1947) is a retired senior officer in the Australian Army, and a former Commissioner for the Australian Capital Territory Emergency Services Authority (2004–06). As Commissioner for the Australian Capital Territory Emergency Services Authority he was responsible for the ACT Fire Brigade, ACT Ambulance Service, Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service. He was appointed to this position in 2003 by Chief Minister Jon Stanhope. The creation of this position was recommended by the McLeod Inquiry into the Canberra bushfires of 2003. Dunn was previously a major general in the Australian Army. Peter MacNaughton Dunn, FRCP, FRCOG, FRCPCH (23 June 1929 – 2 February 2021) was an English paediatrician. Dunn was most notable for introducing into the UK the Gregory box in 1971, that provides Continuous positive airway pressure in the treatment of infant respiratory distress syndrome of the newborn and conducting research into Hip dysplasia and fetal adaptation to extrauterine life. Dunn was also notable for being known for founding the charity association British Association of Perinatal Medicine. Life Dunn was educated at Marlborough College before matriculating at St John's College University of Cambridge to study medicine, attaining a degree in 1953 and undertook training in perinatal medicine in Birmingham, San Francisco and Bristol.
