Peter Briggs
Peter Briggs (born 12 December 1965) is an English cinematographer, screenwriter and television writer. Although he has worked in the motion picture industry for more than 20 years, he is best known for the film ''Hellboy''. His films draw heavily on sources as diverse as weird fiction, fantasy, and war. Film career A former cinematographer, the British-born screenwriter developed fantasy-genre material for Paramount Pictures in the UK in the early part of his career. Briggs wrote a screenplay for ''Alien vs. Predator'' in 1991, which sold to 20th Century Fox. The project languished in development hell for many years until a version was brought to the screen in 2004. Briggs' draft was cited as an example of strong action writing in Chris Gore's book ''The 50 Greatest Movies Never Made''. Whiston, Merseyside
Whiston is a town and civil parish within the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley in Merseyside, England. Previously recorded within the historic county of Lancashire, it is located east of Liverpool. The population was 13,629 at the 2001 Census, increasing to 14,263 at the 2011 Census. A new village, Halsnead Garden Village, was approved with government support in 2017 and will be located in the Halsnead area of the town. Gerald Alexander Anderson (; 14 April 1929 – 26 December 2012) was an English television and film producer, director, writer and occasional voice artist. He remains famous for his futuristic television programmes, especially his 1960s productions filmed with " Supermarionation" (marionette puppets containing electric moving parts). Anderson's first television production was the 1957 Roberta Leigh children's series ''The Adventures of Twizzle'' (1957–58). ''Thunderbirds Are Go'' is a computer-animated science fiction television programme produced by ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures. It is a reboot of the series '' Thunderbirds'' created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson which follows the exploits of International Rescue (IR), a rescue organisation run by the Tracy family out of their secret island base in the Pacific Ocean.
