Peter Becker (curler)
Peter Becker (born 9 June 1949 in Otago, New Zealand) is a New Zealand curler and curling coach. At the international level, he is a two-time bronze medallist (, , , , ) of Pacific Curling Championships. At the national level, he is a three-time New Zealand men's champion curler (1999, 2000, 2013) and 2013 New Zealand senior men's champion curler. In 2022 he was inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame. Otago (, ; mi, Ōtākou ) is a region of New Zealand located in the southern half of the South Island administered by the Otago Regional Council. David Greer (curler)
David Hummell Greer (March 20, 1844 – May 19, 1919) was an American Protestant Episcopal bishop. Biography He was born in Wheeling, Virginia, (now West Virginia), graduated from Washington College (Pa.) in 1862, and studied at the Protestant Episcopal Seminary, Gambier, Ohio. Ordained a priest in 1868, he was rector successively at Covington, Kentucky (1868–1871), Providence, Rhode Island (1871–1888), and New York City at St. Bartholomew's Church, 1888–1904. In 1903, he was elected Bishop Coadjutor for the New York diocese and in 1908 succeeded Bishop Potter upon the latter's decease. He was replaced as rector of St. Bartholomew's Church by Dr. Leighton Parks. Bishop Greer made himself known as an untiring personal worker in his parishes and his diocese, and as a believer in direct and unceremonious relationship between clergy and laymen. Len Hill (curler)
Lenard Winston Hill (14 April 1941 – 12 April 2007) was a Welsh sportsman, who played first-class cricket for Glamorgan, league football for Swansea Town and Newport County and was also a talented tennis player. It was mentioned that he only went to play football professionally so he could spend more time practising in the nets for cricket. In later life Len was a keen golfer with a handicap of 3 and represented Wales Seniors. Early sporting career Hill was born in Caerleon and played for Lovell's Athletic before joining Newport County in 1962. He remained with Newport until 1973, later playing briefly for Swansea City. Later career Hill joined Glamorgan County Cricket Club in 1964, but his football career took precedence, preventing him from playing a full county cricket season until the mid-1970s.
