Pete Steinkopf is an American guitarist, songwriter and music producer who is a founder of the punk rock band The Bouncing Souls. Career Steinkopf founded The Bouncing Souls in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1989. Since that time, the band released ten studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, nine ep/singles and eight split releases. In 2010, with the Build & Burn album from The Loved Ones, Steinkopf began his career in producing and engineering albums. Since then, he has worked with Brian Fallon of The Gaslight Anthem, Dave Hause, Beach Slang, Nathan Gray of Boy Sets Fire and The Menzingers. Steinkopf primarily works out of his studio, Little Eden, as well as The Lake House studio, both in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Beach Slang was an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in May 2013. The band underwent several line-up changes, with lead vocalist/guitarist James Alex serving as the band's leader, figurehead, chief songwriter and sole original member. boysetsfire is an American post-hardcore band from Newark, Delaware. Formed in October 1994, boysetsfire is composed of guitarists Chad Istvan and Josh Latshaw, vocalist Nathan Gray, and bassists Chris Rakus and Robert Ehrenbrand. Dave Hause (born March 12, 1978) is an American singer-songwriter. He currently performs both solo and with his band The Mermaid. His music draws from heartland rock, folk rock and punk rock. He has also played in multiple Philadelphia, PA area punk and hardcore bands, including The Loved Ones and The Falcon. Music and career 1990 to 2003: Early years and The Curse In the mid-90s, Hause played guitar in a Philadelphia-based hardcore/punk band called Step Ahead, who released one album. After they broke up, Hause and Brendan Hill, the drummer from Step Ahead, formed The Curse.
