Pete Pierson
Peter Samuel Pierson (born February 4, 1971) is a former NFL offensive tackle who played seven seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 1994 NFL Draft. Pierson was released by the Buccaneers as a rookie in 1995, and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs. After approximately one week one the Chiefs practice squad, he was released and subsequently re-signed by the Bucs. He remained with the Bucs for the season, but did not play in any games (at least part of this time was on the Bucs' practice squad). Pierson spent the 1995 season as a backup right tackle (12 games, four starts), but moved mainly to the left side when the Bucs hired Tony Dungy in 1996. Paul Gruber
Paul Blake Gruber (born February 24, 1965) is an American former football offensive tackle in the National Football League. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fourth overall in the 1988 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wisconsin. Career Gruber spent his entire National Football League career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1988 to 1999. He never missed a snap in his first five years in the league. Over his 12-year career he appeared in 183 games, starting all of them, which was a Buccaneers record until Derrick Brooks broke it in 2007. For most of his career, Gruber was one of the few marquee players on a bad team; indeed, his early years were spent on some of the worst teams in Bucs history. George Hegamin
George Russell Hegamin (born February 14, 1973) is a former American football offensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played college football at North Carolina State University. Early years Hegamin started to play organized football as a junior at Camden High School in Camden, New Jersey. He received All-American honorable-mention and first-team All-state honors, as a senior defensive tackle. He accepted a football scholarship from North Carolina State University, where he was converted into an offensive tackle. As a redshirt freshman in 1992, he won the right tackle starting job and received Freshman All-American and second-team All-ACC honors. Anthony Kevin Dungy ( ; born October 6, 1955) is an American former football safety and coach who served as a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts. Dungy's teams became perennial postseason contenders under his leadership, missing the playoffs only twice with Tampa Bay. He led the Colts to victory in Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears, making him the first African-American head coach to win the Super Bowl.
