Gabrijel Jurkić
Gabrijel Jurkić (24 March 1886 – 25 February 1974) was a Bosnian Croat artist.Lončarević, Vladimir. 2016. ''Gabrijel Jukić - slikar Božje ljubavi''. Glas koncila (print edition). 2016-03/04. Nr. 14 (2016.), p. 21 He was born in Livno, now Bosnia and Herzegovina. He studied in Zagreb before moving to Vienna, where he attended the Vienna Art Academy. He returned to Bosnia, living in Sarajevo until 1953 when he moved back to Livno. He would spend the rest of his life working within the local Franciscan monastery. He died in 1974. In 1993, he appeared on a postage stamp issued by the Croat administration in Mostar. Roman Petrović
Roman Petrović (1896, in Donji Vakuf – 1947) was a Yugoslav painter and writer. He belongs to the generation of artists who created the history of Bosnian-Herzegovinian (and Yugoslav) painting between the two world wars. Biography Born to an ethnic Ukrainian-Polish family, he was a graduate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, his expressionist art emphasises social themes, borrowing from diverse influences. The Association of Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina named its gallery, opened in 1980, ''Galerija Roman Petrović'' in honour of the painter. Lazar Drljača
Lazar Drljača (10 October 1882 – 13 July 1970) was a Bosnia and Herzegovina painter, who self-identified as the Bosnians, Bosnian Bogomilism, bogumil. Biography Born in Blatna near Bosanski Novi into a Bosnian Serbs, Bosnian Serb family, he was initially an expressionism, expressionist, but turned to impressionism. Drljača identified himself as Bosnian bogumil, therefore he was often called the ''last Bosnian bogumil''. He passed his examination for Fine Arts in Vienna in October 1906, and in 1911 he participated in the International Exhibition in Rome for the Kingdom of Serbia's pavilion, after which he moved to Paris to attend art school, and worked in the Louvre copying the old masters, Titian and Leonardo da Vinci, sometimes to commission. From July 9, 1914 to 1919 little is known about his life but a note on a picture records that he was interned in a camp in Sardinia.
