Perth Orioles
Perth Orioles were an Australian netball team that, between 1997 and 2007, represented Netball Western Australia in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy. Orioles were one of the founding teams of the competition. They never finished higher than sixth in the competition's eleven seasons and finished last four times. In 2008, when the Commonwealth Bank Trophy was replaced by the ANZ Championship, Perth Orioles were rebranded as West Coast Fever. Kate Beveridge
Kate Beveridge (born 25 July 1985) is a former Australian netball player who played in the ANZ Championship for the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2008–2010, Melbourne Vixens in 2011–2012 and West Coast Fever in 2013-2017. Beveridge is known for her long range goal attempts, high arcing shots and very high accuracy rate. She is also known for her unique shooting style, having her arms straight while shooting. She was chosen to play for the Australian Netball Diamonds in 2008-2011. Although Beveridge was not included in the 12-player Diamonds squad in 2010, she captained the Diamonds' FastNet team in 2010 as the only player to have played in the 2009 World Netball Series. Stacey Rosman
Stacey Marinkovich (born 25 February 1981), previously known as Stacey Rosman, is a former Australian netball player and current netball coach. During the Commonwealth Bank Trophy era she played for Queensland Firebirds and Perth Orioles. In the ANZ Championship era she played for West Coast Fever. She captained both Orioles and Fever. After retiring as a player, Rosman became a coach. In 2014 she was appointed head coach of West Coast Fever. In 2018 she guided Fever to their first ever grand final. She was subsequently named Joyce Brown Coach of the Year. In 2020 Rosman, now Marinkovich, was appointed head coach of the Australia national netball team. Janelle Lawson (born 9 August 1987) is an Australian netball player. In 2012 she was a member of the Northern Thunder team that won the Netball Superleague title. During the Commonwealth Bank Trophy era she played for Perth Orioles and AIS Canberra Darters. During the ANZ Championship era she played for Queensland Firebirds and West Coast Fever. Jasmine Keene
Jasmine Keene (born 14 January 1987 in Perth, Western Australia) is an Australian netball player, primarily in the position of goal shooter. She is the daughter of Australian rules football player Laurie Keene, who played for the West Coast Eagles. Jasmine Keene debuted in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy for the Perth Orioles in 2006, before transferring to the AIS Canberra Darters the following year. Keene was not signed for the inaugural season of the ANZ Championship, but returned to Perth in 2009 to play with the West Coast Fever. In 2010 she moved again to the Adelaide Thunderbirds. Keene played only one quarter against the Central Pulse, although the Thunderbirds went on to win the 2010 Championship title. Bianca Giteau
Bianca Giteau (née Franklin) is a former Australian netball player. Giteau played with the Perth Orioles in 2002, the Canberra Darters from 2003 to 2005 and the Melbourne Kestrels in 2006 in the Commonwealth Bank Trophy.
