''Persistence of Time'' is the fifth studio album by the American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released on August 21, 1990 through Megaforce Worldwide/Island Records and was nominated in 1991 for a Grammy Award in the Best Metal Performance category. The album included the singles, " Got the Time" (a Joe Jackson cover) and "In My World" (which was performed by the band on the '' Married... with Children'' episode, " My Dinner with Anthrax"). Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group is considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene from the 1980s and is part of the "Big Four" of the genre, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. They were also one of the first thrash metal bands (along with Overkill and Nuclear Assault) to emerge from the East Coast. The band has released 11 studio albums, several other albums, and 26 singles, including collaborating on a single with American hip hop group Public Enemy. ''The Greater of Two Evils'' is an album by American heavy metal band Anthrax. It was released in November 2004 via the Sanctuary record label. It is the last Anthrax release prior to the band's reunion with Joey Belladonna and guitarist Dan Spitz. The album is made up of 14 songs from the band's early era that were first released between 1983 and 1990. These tracks have been re-recorded by Anthrax's 2004 lineup, with vocalist John Bush recording new versions of songs originally sung by Neil Turbin and Joey Belladonna. The final track listing was decided by a vote on the band's website. The track list was then recorded by the band "live" in the studio over two days. Rob Caggiano
Robert Caggiano (born November 7, 1976) is an American guitarist and record producer. Since 2013, Caggiano has been the lead guitarist of the rock band Volbeat. He had formerly been guitarist of thrash metal band Anthrax and nu metal band Boiler Room. Career Caggiano's first professional band was Boiler Room that formed in 1996. The band caught the attention of Roadrunner Records after an opening slot for the band Orgy in 1999. After several delays, the band eventually got Tommy Boy Records to release their debut album ''Can't Breathe''. Soon after the release, the band broke up in summer 2000. He initially played with Anthrax from 2001 until 2005, exiting when their ''Among the Living'' lineup reunited, and later returning in 2007 following the end of that reunion. "Deaths-Head Revisited" is episode 74 of the American television anthology series ''The Twilight Zone''. The story is about a former SS officer revisiting the Dachau concentration camp a decade and a half after World War II. The title is a play on the Evelyn Waugh novel ''Brideshead Revisited''. John Bush (musician)
John Bush (born August 24, 1963) is an American heavy metal singer and songwriter. He came to prominence in the 1980s as the lead singer and lyricist of Armored Saint, a heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California. In 1992, he joined thrash metal band Anthrax, with whom he remained until 2005 and briefly rejoined in 2009–2010. Bush has also been active with the reformed Armored Saint intermittently from 1999 to the present. Eduardo Rivadavia of AllMusic praised Bush's "remarkable voice" while authors Howie Abrams and Sacha Jenkins ranked him as the eighth-best vocalist in the genre.
