Edward Perrott
Edward Perrott (1851–1915) was a rugby union international who represented England in 1875. Early life Perrott was born on 16 September 1851 in Bronhyddron, Oswestry, Shropshire, England, the eldest of the eight children of Robert Simcocks Perrott (1813–1888) and Elizabeth Ann Owen (). His father had been born in Llansaintffraid, Montgomeryshire, Wales and in 1865 was the High Sheriff of Montgomeryshire. His maternal grandfather was a clergyman and had been the Rector of Penmorfa and also of Llaneddwyn. He attended Cheltenham College. Rugby union career Perrott played rugby at Cheltenham College and went on to represent the old boys side, Old Cheltonians, as an adult. Herbert Perrott (politician)
Sir Herbert Perrott (c. 1617 – 1 August 1683) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1659 and 1679. Perrott was the son of Robert Perrott of Moreton. He was of Haroldston and Wellington, Herefordshire. He was a cousin of his fellow MP Thomas Tomkins. In 1659, Perrott was elected Member of Parliament for Weobley in the Third Protectorate Parliament. He was re-elected MP for Weobley in the Convention Parliament in August 1660 after the previous election was declared void. He was knighted on 14 August 1660 and served as High Sheriff of Herefordshire for 1661–62 and High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire for 1665–66. In 1677, Perrott was elected MP for Haverfordwest in the Cavalier Parliament and sat until 1679. Perrott died at the age of 66 and was commemorated in a tablet in Wellington Church. Sir Herbert Perrott, 5th Baronet
Sir Herbert Charles Perrott, 5th and 1st Baronet, (26 October 1849 – 15 February 1922) was an English baronet who succeeded to a 1716 baronetcy in 1886 and was created a baronet in his own right on 21 June 1911 with precedence to his heirs male from the 1716 creation. Since there were no sons, the baronetcies became extinct with his death in 1922. Nathan Perrott
Nathan A. Perrott (born December 8, 1976) is a Canadian professional boxer and former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Dallas Stars between 2001 and 2006. He currently works as a fire fighter at Bruce Power in Tiverton, Ontario. Hockey career Perrott was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, with the 44th overall pick. Unsigned by New Jersey, he became a member of the Chicago Blackhawks for three and a half years before being traded to the Nashville Predators in 2001. He made his NHL debut with Nashville during the 2001–02 NHL season, registering 3 points and 74 penalty minutes in 21 games. Rebecca Perrott
Rebecca Vivian Mary Perrott (born 20 June 1961) is a swimmer from New Zealand, who won the gold medal in the women's 200 metres freestyle at the 1978 Commonwealth Games. She was fourth in the women's 400m freestyle at the 1976 Summer Olympics. In the 1980 New Year Honours, Perrott was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire, for services to swimming. She was considered a possible medallist for the 1980 Summer Olympics but was denied the opportunity due to the boycott by the majority of New Zealand Olympic sports associations. At 15 she was the youngest person to represent New Zealand at the Olympics.
