Geraldine Peroni
Geraldine "Geri" Peroni (July 5, 1953 – August 3, 2004) was an American film editor who was best known for working with Robert Altman. She received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for her work on Altman's 1992 film, '' The Player''. Life and career Peroni was born in Manhattan, New York City and grew up in the borough of Queens. Her collaboration with Altman extended over eight films. Altman said of Peroni "I trusted her totally with everything, I was planning on using her in the next film. She and I saw very much the same way — we just read each other so well." She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film Editing, the BAFTA Award for Best Editing, and the American Cinema Editors Eddie for her work on '' The Player'' (1992). Giuseppe Peroni
Giuseppe Peroni (6 May 1700 – 22 September 1776) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. ''Extasis of Phillip Neri'' (1764), Santa Maria presso San Satiro, Milan Biography He was born and died in Parma, where he is said to have studied under Ilario Spolverini. He then moved to Bologna and attended the Accademia Clementina, where he would have worked under the masters Ercole Lelli, Felice Torelli, and Donato Creti, then moved to Rome to work with Agostino Masucci. He painted in the pre-eminent style of his time, the grand manner of Carlo Maratta. In Rome, In 1738, Giuseppe was able to garner a first prize for painting submitted to an exhibition at the Accademia di San Luca. He also became a priest by 1744. Returning to Parma, he became active in teaching at the local Academy of Fine Arts (founded 1757) and painting mostly altarpieces for churches. Peroni Brewery () is a brewing company, founded by Francesco Peroni in Vigevano, Italy in 1846. It is probably best known worldwide for its pale lager, ''Nastro Azzurro'' (5.1% ABV), which was the 13th best-selling beer in the United Kingdom in 2010.
