Pero Pejić (born 28 November 1982) is a Croatian retired professional footballer who played as a striker. With over 100 goals to his name, he is the highest scoring foreign player in Albanian football history. In 2015, Pero Pejić was one of the top 5 goalscorers in Europe. Club career Early career Pejić began his career at local club NK Zmaj Makarska but soon moved to play for Vrbovec in 2000. After two years at the club, he decided to move to Croatia Sesvete, from there he moved to a bigger club, Slaven Belupo. After three and a half years at the Koprivnica club moved abroad for the first time to play for Albanian side Dinamo Tirana. George Pero
George Pero (April 16, 1916 – March 23, 1988) was an American tennis player in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s. He was born in Miami, Florida. Pero played on the University of Miami tennis team that went unbeaten for three years between 1938 and 1940. While Pero was on the team, it lost to only two other colleges (Stanford and the University of California), and Pero himself didn't lose a single match during his sophomore and junior years at Miami. Pero enlisted in the Army Air Corp in the spring of 1942. After World War II, he continued his tennis career, winning the Southern Championships and several state titles including Kentucky, Louisiana and Alabama. Pêro Vaz de Caminha (c. 1450 – 15 December 1500; , ; also spelled Pedro Vaz de Caminha) was a Portuguese knight that accompanied Pedro Álvares Cabral to India in 1500 as a secretary to the royal factory. Caminha wrote the detailed official report of the April 1500 discovery of Brazil by Cabral's fleet (''Carta de Pêro Vaz de Caminha'', dated 1 May, 1500). Pero Simić (2 July 1946 – 11 October 2016) was a Bosnian Serb journalist and historian. He is most notable for authoring the first complete political biography of Josip Broz Tito, which has been published in all languages of the former Yugoslavia, in seven editions with a circulation of 58,500 copies, under the titles ''Tito, secret of the century'' and ''Tito the phenomenon of the century''.
