Perindo Party
The Indonesian Unity Party ( id, Partai Persatuan Indonesia, Partai Perindo) is a political party in Indonesia. The party was founded on 7 February 2015 by media tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo, owner of the MNC Group and business partner of former US President Donald Trump. Background Hary Tanoesoedibjo established Perindo Party following his disappointing forays into politics with two other parties. In 2011, he joined the Nasdem Party (Partai Nasional Demokrat) of fellow media baron Surya Paloh, but he quit the party in January 2013 after a falling out with Paloh. In February 2013, he announced he would launch a mass organization called Perindo (United Indonesia), which he hoped would eventually become a political party. Bambang Hary Iswanto Tanoesoedibjo or Hary Tanoesoedibjo, also known as Hary Tanoe for short (born September 26, 1965) is an Indonesian businessman and politician. He is the President Director of PT MNC Investama Tbk, which he founded in 2009. As the chairman, he oversees and develops the strategy of the holding company and its subsidiaries, including a media giant Media Nusantara Citra (MNC). Wiranto
Wiranto (born 4 April 1947) is an Indonesian politician and former army general, who is serving as the chairman of the Presidential Advisory Council, since December 2019. Previously, he was the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces from February 1998 to October 1999 during Indonesia's transition from authoritarian rule to democracy, he ran unsuccessfully for President of Indonesia in 2004 and for the vice-presidency in 2009. Ma'ruf Amin (born 11 March 1943) is an Indonesian politician, Islamic cleric, and lecturer who is the 13th and current vice president of Indonesia. Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (, Pha̍k-fa-sṳ: ''Chûng Van-ho̍k''; born 29 June 1966) is an Indonesian businessman, politician, and former governor of Jakarta. He is also known by his Hakka Chinese nickname Ahok (). Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno (born 28 June 1969) is an Indonesian businessman, investor and politician who is the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, and was the Deputy Governor of Jakarta. He was elected along with Anies Baswedan in the 2017 Jakarta gubernatorial election after defeating incumbent pair Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (widely known as "Ahok") and Djarot Saiful Hidayat.
