Pereza (Spanish for “laziness”) was a Spanish rock group from Alameda de Osuna (Madrid) comprising Rubén Pozo Prats and José Miguel Conejo Torres, artistically known as Rubén and Leiva. They have recorded six albums ''Pereza'', ''Algo para cantar'' (Something to Sing), ''Animales'' (Animals), ''Los amigos de los animales'' (The Animals’ Friends), ''Aproximaciones'' (Approximations) released in the summer of 2007, Aviones (Aeroplanes), released in August 2009, and a last compilation that includes two previously unreleased discs: “Mama Quiero Ser una Estrella del Rock'n’Roll” (Mama I Want to be a Rock’n’Roll Star) and “Baires”, recorded and mixed in Argentina. Leiva (singer)
José Miguel Conejo Torres (born in Madrid, 28 April 1980), better known by his artistic name Leiva, is a Spanish singer, musician and songwriter. Between 2001 and 2010 he led with Ruben Pozo the Spanish rock band Pereza, with which he recorded 6 albums. After the dissolution of the band, he started a solo career with 3 charting solo albums: ''Diciembre'' in 2012, ''Pólvora'' in 2014 and ''Monstruos'' in 2016. Biography Leiva was born and raised in the neighborhood of Alameda de Osuna, in the northeast suburbs of Madrid. His great love of football coupled with his strong resemblance to Leivinha, a Brazilian footballer who at the time played for Atlético de Madrid, earned him the nickname Leiva. Laboratorio Ñ
Laboratorio Ñ was an initiative of the Spanish musicians Iván Ferreiro (ex member of Los Piratas), Quique González and Xoel López ( Deluxe), that took part between 8th and 22 November 2005. These musicians met in the house-musical study ''El Cielito'', 30 km from Buenos Aires, to compose music together. Some other musicians also took part: from Spain Amaral and Pereza, and from Argentina (Bersuit, which was only for the welcome, Súper Ratones and Lisandro Aristimuño), but nevertheless the initial plan the only musicians really involved were the promoters of the lab. El Canto Del Loco
El Canto del Loco (''The Singing of the Madman'' in English) was a Spanish pop rock band, although its members recognize that some of their songs are more in the style of power pop. The name of the band comes from the song '' El Canto del Gallo'' by Radio Futura. The group sometimes known through the abbreviation ECDL was created in 1994 by Dani Martín and Ivan Ganchegui (who left the group in 2002) although the final line up would not come together until years later. Influenced mainly by other Spanish groups from the 1980s and with five studio albums, ''El Canto del Loco'' has gone on to sell more than a million albums, making them one of the most successful bands on the Spanish music scene in recent years. Amaral (band)
Amaral is a Spanish rock duo from Zaragoza, who have sold more than four million albums worldwide. The band consists of Eva Amaral (vocals) and Juan Aguirre (guitar), who write their songs together. Amaral and Aguirre met in 1992 in a bar in Zaragoza. She played drums in a local punk rock band called Bandera Blanca and also sang with Acid Rain. Aguirre was playing with a band called Días de Vino y Rosas at the time. Soon after they met, the two decided to play together and perform their own material. A riff is a repeated chord progression or refrain in music (also known as an ostinato figure in classical music); it is a pattern, or melody, often played by the rhythm section instruments or solo instrument, that forms the basis or accompaniment of a musical composition.
