Pere Gratacós
Pere Gratacós Boix (born 14 February 1958) is a Spanish retired Association football, football Defender (association football)#Centre-back, central defender and coach. Playing career Born in Besalú, Province of Girona, Girona, Catalonia, Gratacós arrived at FC Barcelona's youth system in 1974 at the age of 16, going to play for several of its youth teams. He made his professional debuts with Real Valladolid in the 1979–80 Segunda División, 1979–80 season, on loan, helping to a Segunda División promotion and returning to play a further three years with ''Barças FC Barcelona B, reserves, where he was awarded Captain (association football), team captaincy. Besalú
Besalú () is a town in the ''comarca'' of Garrotxa, in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. The town's importance was greater in the early Middle Ages, as capital of the county of Besalú, whose territory was roughly the same size as the current ''comarca'' of Garrotxa but sometime extended as far as Corbières, Aude, in France. Wilfred the Hairy, credited with the unification of Catalonia, was Count of Besalú. The town was also the birthplace of Raimon Vidal, a medieval troubadour. Besalú was designated as a historical national property ("conjunt històric-artístic") in 1966. Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper
The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper () is the training ground and academy base of Spanish football club FC Barcelona. It was officially opened on 1 June 2006, and was named in honor of Joan Gamper, founder of the club. Located in Sant Joan Despí (Baix Llobregat, Province of Barcelona) to the west of central Barcelona and north of the city's airport, and covering 163.650 m², it is used since 2006 for youth team training and matches and since January 2009 for the first team training. It is also used by many of the other sports teams at the club including Basketball, Handball and Futsal who use facilities such as the multi-sports pavilion.
