Perakian Malay People
Perakian Malay people refers to a group of Malay people originating from the Malaysian state of Perak. As of 2010, it is estimated that the population of the Perakian Malays in Perak are about 55.74% of the state's population. Language Perakian Malays uses a distinct form of Malay variant known as Perak Malay. Linguistically, there are about five Malay dialects traditionally spoken in Perak, only one of which is intended by the name "Perak Malay" and it can be divided into two sub-dialects namely Perak Tengah sub-dialect and Kuala Kangsar sub-dialect. Mohamed Zain "Jins" Shamsudin ( Jawi: محمد زين بن شمس الدين; born 5 November 1935 – 1 March 2017) was a Malaysian film actor, director, politician, writer and producer. Early life and film career Mohamed Jin was born in Taiping, Perak on 5 November 1935. He went to SMK King Edward VII Taiping, Perak and he completed his Senior Cambridge exams in 1956, hoping to continue his studies at the University of Malaya in Singapore (currently the National University of Singapore). His hopes were dashed when the university's admission officer said that they would "keep his application in view". Jamal Abdillah
Dato' Jamal Ubaidillah bin Haji Mohd Ali (born 7 May 1959), known by his stage name Jamal Abdillah, is a Malaysian pop singer and actor with a "bad boy" image. Jamal began his singing career in 1973. He won Radio Televisyen Malaysia's Bintang RTM competition in 1979. Following his victory, he continued to sing but also appeared in films such as 'Azura'. Jamal is the eldest of seven siblings. Ahmad Azhar bin Othman (born 24 November 1968), better known by his stage name Awie, is a Malaysian singer, musician, and actor. Awie is considered one of the greatest Malaysian vocalist of all time. Born in Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur, Awie's music career start in 1985 with a rock band called Wings, which he became a lead vocal at age 17. Amy Mastura Suhaimi (born 10 May 1971) is a Malaysian singer and actress. Her entertainment career began in the music industry, following her performance at the 1993 Asia bagus talent show in Japan. The Sultan of Perak (سلطان ڤيراق) is one of the oldest hereditary seats among the Malay states. When the Sultanate of Malacca empire fell to Portugal in 1511, Sultan Mahmud Syah I retreated to Kampar, Sumatra, and died there in 1528. He left behind two princes named Sultan Alauddin Riayat Shah II and Sultan Muzaffar Syah. The former went on to establish the Sultanate of Johor. Muzaffar Syah was invited to rule Perak: he became the first sultan of Perak. Sultan Abdullah Muhammad Shah II Ibni Almarhum Sultan Jaafar Safiuddin Muadzam Shah Waliullah (21 September 1842 – 22 December 1922) was the 26th Sultan of Perak. Perak at that time was part of the British-administered Federated Malay States. He later played a prominent role of adopting the Perak's state anthem, ''Allah Lanjutkan Usia Sultan'' which was later used as the national anthem of Malaysia.
