Per Eckerdal
Per Eckerdal (born March 31, 1951, in Östad in Västergötland), is a Swedish theologian and former bishop of Gothenburg. Biography Per Eckerdal is the son of Hugo Eckerdal (1907–1987), curator in the Västra Frölunda parish in Gothenburg, and his wife Vera, born Andersson (1912–2007). He is the brother of the emeritus Bishop of Gothenburg, Lars Eckerdal. From his first marriage (1973–2000) with Lena Eckerdal, born Harrysson, he has four children. Since 2000, he has been married to Monica Eckerdal, the national coordinator of the apostate priest and granddaughter of Archbishop Bertil Werkström. Per Eckerdal was ordained priest in 1975 and was appointed to Kortedala Parish in Gothenburg from 1975–1977, diocesan assistant professor 1977–1982, as well as curate in Älvsåkers Assembly (Tölö parish) in Halland 1982–1990. The Diocese of Gothenburg ( sv, Göteborgs stift) is a diocese of the Church of Sweden. Since March 2018, the bishop has been Susanne Rappmann. Västra Frölunda
Västra Frölunda, sometimes referred to as just Frölunda, is one of 21 boroughs in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. It is located in the south western part of the city, and is the smallest of the boroughs with a population of 12,855 (2004) on 3.72 square kilometres, although the term Frölunda generally is used for a much wider area covering almost all the city's western suburbs. Bertil Werkström
Bertil Werkström (9 June 1928 – 10 July 2010) was Archbishop of Uppsala from 1983 to 1993. Early years and education Bertil Werkström was the son of the Gunnar Werkström (1904-1975) and Ingar Hedenskog (1908-1971). He grew up in Dalsland and studied theology at Lund University in 1954. He graduated in 1959. Afterwards he underwent hospitalization in the United States between 1959 and 1960. He became a doctor of theology in 1963 with the dissertation ''Bekännelse och avlösning. En typologisk undersökning av Luthers, Thurneysens och Buchmans biktuppfattningar'' (Confession and Relief. A Typological Examination of Lutheran, Thurneysen and Buchman's Concept of Conflict). Kortedala
Kortedala is a district, mainly residential (apartments), in the north-eastern part of Gothenburg in western Sweden. The area has a population of around 10,000 and is one of the typical 1950s suburbs of Gothenburg. The area has many trees and parks. Kortedala also has Gothenburg's largest ice-skating rink, Isdala, and a large sports centre, Alelyckan. There are four local squares, three smaller ones and the larger Kortedala Torg. Kortedala is on tram lines 6, 7 and 11, with line 6 terminating at Aprilgatan. In 2007, the Swedish musician Jens Lekman released an album titled ''Night Falls Over Kortedala''. Halland
Halland () is one of the traditional provinces of Sweden (''landskap''), on the western coast of Götaland, southern Sweden. It borders Västergötland, Småland, Scania and the sea of Kattegat.
