Per Bach Laursen (born 7 February 1962 in Løgstør) is from Overlade near Løgstør, he is proprietor and owner of Lundgård. He is also the current mayor of Vesthimmerlands Municipality he is from Venstre, he was preceded by Knud Vældgaard Kristensen who was from Det Konservative Folkeparti, he has been a Vice-mayor of Vesthimmerland Municipality and he also ran for mayor of Vesthimmerland Municipality in 2013. In the 2017 Municipality election he received the most votes of them all of the candidates of Vesthimmerland Municipality, and he is the current mayor of Vesthimmerland Municipality. Løgstør
Løgstør is a town in Denmark with a population of 3,967 (1 January 2022) It is located 47 km west of Aalborg and 64 km north of Viborg. Løgstør's city centre consists of old streets with small houses built in the 1800s for fishermen and sailors. One of these houses was donated by Danish housemen to the author and poet Johan Skjoldborg (1861 - 1936) in 1918, who lived in the house until his death. It is located on Johan Skjoldborgs Vej. It covers an area of 768,08 km² (2013) and has a total population of 38,277 inhabitants (2008). Overlade
Overlade is a village/town in western Himmerland, Denmark, with a population of 447 (1 January 2022), located 12 km north from Farsø, 16 km south of Løgstør, 3 kilometers from Limfjord and seven kilometers south of Ranum. The village is in the North Denmark Region and belongs to the Vesthimmerland Municipality. The city was founded by the monks of Vitskøl Abbey most likely the monks were from the Cistercian Order. The city has in recent history been a rich business with several factories, forges, bakeries, butcher sale, bicycle shop and much more. The city inn burned down in 1984. Knud Vældgaard Kristensen is (born June 7, 1953 in Farsø) is a Danish mason and politician, and he was son of Åge Kristensen and Inge Kristensen. He a member of Danish party Det Konservative Folkeparti. He is currently retired from politics. Kristensen became a mason in 1973 and has been independent of own masonry and construction business since 1975 which he founded. It is called Hornum Murer- og Entreprenørforretning (English: Hornum masonry and contracting business). He was a councilor in Aars Municipality from 1986–2006, in the period 1998-2001 as deputy mayor and from 2002–2006 as mayor. Jens Lauritzen (born December 3, 1953) is a Danish politician who has been Mayor of the Vesthimmerland Municipality from 2006 to 2010, he is/was from Venstre. Lauritzen is educated in agriculture. Since 1981 he has been an independent farmer, but has also worked as a supervisor in a construction company. He began his political career as a member of Løgstør Municipal Council in Løgstør in 1986. He became mayor of Løgstør Municipality in 1998.
