Eduardo Gabriel Aquino Cossa (born 24 February 1997), commonly known as Pepê is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for F.C Porto as a winger. Formed at Foz do Iguaçu, he spent five years at Grêmio, where he made 144 appearances and scored 32 goals, while winning the Campeonato Gaúcho four consecutive times. Club career Foz do Iguaçu Born on Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná state, Pepê graduated from the youth academy of hometown club Foz do Iguaçu Futebol Clube and spent part of the 2016 season with Coritiba. The 2020 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Assaí 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 64th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 17th edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The competition was originally scheduled to begin on 3 May and end on 6 December, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic the tournament was rescheduled, starting on 8 August 2020 and ending on 25 February 2021. In sports, an ejection (also known as dismissal, sending-off, disqualification, or early shower) is the removal of a participant from a contest due to a violation of the sport's rules. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
