Pepsi Football Academy
The Pepsi Football Academy is a Nigerian association football academy. History The Pepsi Football Academy was established in November 1992 by Kashimawo Laloko. Originally based in Lagos, the initiative secured the total backing of Pepsi in 1994 and has been titled the Pepsi Football Academy since then. Over the years, it has developed and grown into one of the most prestigious football academies in Nigeria. Today, the academy comprises over 3,000 registered students aged between 6–18 years and operates throughout the year from 14 separate training centres and 54 coaches across Nigeria. Pepsi
Pepsi is a carbonated soft drink manufactured by PepsiCo. Originally created and developed in 1893 by Caleb Bradham and introduced as Brad's Drink, it was renamed as Pepsi-Cola in 1898, and then shortened to Pepsi in 1961. Mikel John Obi
Mikel John Obi (born John Michael Nchekwube Obinna; 22 April 1987) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Mikel began his career with local club Plateau United, before joining Norwegian club Lyn at the age of 17 in 2004. In 2006, he made a controversial transfer to English club Chelsea after Manchester United claimed they had already signed him. Dominic Chatto
Dominic Chatto Bashir Jamilu (born 7 December 1985) is a retired Nigerian football midfielder. He has played three times in Nigerian youth teams. Club career Chatto was born in Kaduna, Nigeria. Chatto started playing football in the age of six. He developed into one of the most talented players of his region and was always chosen to lead his team as a captain. Chatto learned to play football in Pepsi Football Academy in Nigeria. Before moving to Nigerian Premier League and Heartland FC he trained also in Highlanders Football Academy. Joseph Akpala
Joseph Eneojo Akpala (born 24 August 1986) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Club career Akpala is a product of the Pepsi Football Academy in Lagos. His first professional contract came in April 2003 with Bendel United Football Club, a Division One club in Benin City. Elderson Uwa Echiéjilé (born 20 January 1988) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He began his career at Bendel Insurance and moved to Europe in 2007, joining Rennes where he was mainly a reserve.
