Pepper Steiger
Heidi "Pepper" Steiger is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Nicky Whelan. The character was introduced into the serial as part of a group of four characters branded as "20 somethings". She made her debut in the episode broadcast on 12 October 2006. Pepper left the soap on 1 November 2007 after Whelan quit her contract. During her stint in the serial Pepper was involved in notable storylines including a same-sex kiss, a hostage situation and cervical dysplasia. Creation and casting Pepper was created in 2006 along with another three characters created at the same time as part of a new group of "20 somethings". Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model known for her role as Pepper Steiger in the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours''. Career Before ''Neighbours'', Whelan hosted a number of shows, including '' Coxy's Big Break'' (Seven Network), ''Beyond the Boundary'' ( Network Ten), and ''Melbourne Woman'' (Seven Network), and played the fictional celebrity "Chrissie Grant" on ''Russell Coight's Celebrity Challenge'', a spin-off of ''All Aussie Adventures''. Shannon Louise "Lolly" Allen (also Carpenter) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours''. She made her first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 25 July 1994. Louise was played by Tessa Taylor from her birth, with Jiordan Tolli taking over the role a few months later. Stefan Dennis (born 30 October 1958) is an Australian actor and singer best known for playing the role of cold-hearted and ruthless businessman Paul Robinson in the soap opera ''Neighbours'' from its first episode on March 18, 1985. He departed ''Neighbours'' in 1992 before returning for a short stint in 1993. Paul Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Neighbours'', a long-running serial drama about social life in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough. He is played by Stefan Dennis. Paul was created by producer Reg Watson as one of ''Neighbours''' original characters.
