John King (journalist)
John King (born August 30, 1963) is an American news anchor. He is CNN's chief national correspondent, based in Washington, D.C., and is the weekday anchor of its roundtable political discussion program ''Inside Politics''. He formerly anchored '' State of the Union'' and '' John King, USA''. Personal life King was born in Boston. He is of Irish descent with ancestors from Dún Locháin, Co. Galway. He attended Boston Latin School, and earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Rhode Island. John King and Jean Makie, his first wife, have two children, named Noah and Hannah. On May 25, 2008, King married his second wife, fellow CNN anchor Dana Bash. Before marrying Bash, King (previously a Roman Catholic) converted to Judaism, Bash's religion. CNN Tonight
''CNN Tonight'' is a title that has been used by multiple news programs broadcast by the U.S. cable news channel CNN. The title has primarily been used for transitional programs aired by CNN in the evening and prime time hours as part of changes to its programming lineup—including the departure (either voluntary or via termination) or reassignment of anchors. The majority of programs aired under the title have been anchored by a rotation of CNN personalities. The title was first used for a short-lived program in 2001 anchored by Bill Hemmer. In November 2009, ''CNN Tonight'' temporarily replaced ''Lou Dobbs Tonight'' after Lou Dobbs' departure from the network. In April 2014, a third iteration of ''CNN Tonight'' premiered as a 10 p.m. ET program, as part of schedule changes following the cancellation of ''Piers Morgan Live''; this iteration would later become a full-time program hosted by Don Lemon, and was renamed ''Don Lemon Tonight'' in May 2021. Anderson Cooper
Anderson Hays Cooper (born June 3, 1967) is an American broadcast journalist and political commentator from the Vanderbilt family. He is the primary anchor of the CNN news broadcast show ''Anderson Cooper 360°''. In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for '' 60 Minutes'' on CBS News. After graduating from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989, he began traveling the world, shooting footage of war-torn regions for Channel One News. ''Anderson Cooper 360°'' (commonly shortened to either ''AC-360'' or ''360'') is an American television news show on CNN and CNN International, hosted by CNN journalist and news anchor Anderson Cooper. Since May 20, 2019, ''360°'' has been broadcast live from CNN's set in Studio 21L at CNN's offices in 30 Hudson Yards in New York City. It is also sometimes broadcast from CNN's studios in Washington, D.C. or from the site of a breaking news event, airing Monday through Friday evenings. Erin Isabelle Burnett (born July 2, 1976) is an American news anchor, currently the anchor of ''Erin Burnett OutFront'' on CNN. She previously worked for CNBC as co-anchor of ''Squawk on the Street'' and the host of ''Street Signs''. ''Erin Burnett OutFront'' is an hour-long television news program hosted by Erin Burnett on CNN. The show premiered on October 3, 2011 in the 7:00pm time slot to replace '' John King, USA''. Until the launch of ''CNN Tonight'' in 2014, ''OutFront'' was also rebroadcast at 11:00 p.m. ET, occasionally aired live during rolling coverage of breaking news. CNN said in 2011 they hoped Burnett's expected popularity would provide an "attractive" opening to an evening of "talk shows and news analysis". Wolf Isaac Blitzer (born March 22, 1948) is an American journalist, television news anchor, and author who has been a CNN reporter since 1990, and who currently serves as one of the principal anchors at the network. He is the host of ''The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer'' and until 2021, served as the network's lead political anchor. ''The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer'' (also simply ''The Situation Room'') is a daily newscast on CNN hosted by Wolf Blitzer that first aired on August 8, 2005. The show currently airs weekdays live from 6:00p.m. to 7:00pm ET from CNN's studios in Washington D.C. A Saturday edition, recapping the news of the week, was formerly produced from 2008 to 2013. John Berman (born March 21, 1972) is an American news anchor, formerly the co-anchor of CNN's ''New Day'' with Brianna Keilar on CNN, and a regular relief presenter of ''Anderson Cooper 360°''.
