Albert Park is an open access, free public park, located in Middlesbrough, in the borough of Middlesbrough and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. History The town's first mayor and MP, Henry Bolckow, first proposed the idea of a public park for the residents of Middlesbrough, dubbed the 'People's Park' in its conception. The Valenzuela People's Park, officially the Valenzuela City People's Park and also known to local residents as simply People's Park or VCPP, is an urban community park located in the city of Valenzuela, Philippines. It is built beside the Valenzuela City Government Center and the Valenzuela Town Center. People's Park is an urban public park in central Davao City, Mindanao, Philippines. History The People's Park was created through the conversion of the old PTA Grounds or the Palaruang Panlunsod (), a sporting and events venue of the city, into a park. The conversion of the grounds into the "PTA Park" which costed was commenced in July 2006. The park had a soft opening in August 2007 during the Kadayawan festival. It was inaugurated on December 15, 2007 and was named "People's Park" which was chosen among the 918 entries of the "Name the Park" contest organized by the city government. History The Park was initially developed as part of the Pery Square development in the Newtown Pery area of central Limerick.
