People's Defense Force (comics)
The People's Defense Force is the name of two fictional organizations appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Fictional team history Hungary version The People's Defense Force is a team of Eastern European superbeings who are linked by the fact that they have individually fought Hank Pym during his earliest exploits as Ant-Man and Giant-Man. They operate as the People's Defense Force out of the Bratislava Prison Superhuman Research Complex in the latter days of European communism. With Quicksilver (comics), Quicksilver, who is being manipulated by Maximus (comics), Maximus the Mad, the People's Defense Force attack the West Coast Avengers to get at Pym. Norman Osborn is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by writer Stan Lee and artist Steve Ditko, first appeared in ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' #14 (July 1964) as the first and best-known incarnation of the Green Goblin, as well as being generally regarded as the archenemy of Spider-Man, alongside Doctor Octopus and Venom. The Collective Man (Sun, Chang, Ho, Lin, and Han Tao-Yu) is a Chinese superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The Collective Man is actually an identity shared by the Tao-Yu brothers, a set of quintuplets. The Inhumans are a fictional superhuman race of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The comic book series has usually focused more specifically on the adventures of the Inhuman Royal Family, and many people associate the name "Inhumans" with this particular team of superpowered characters.
