Pentelis Railway Station
Pentelis railway station ( el, Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Πεντέλης, Sidirodromikós Stathmós Pentélis) is a station located on the borders of the municipalities of Vrilissia, Maroussi, and Chalandri Greece. It was first opened on 21 February 2007 and is located in the median strip of Motorway 6, at the interchange of Pentelis Avenue, at the intersection of which with the railway line SKA - Athens International Airport has been built, from which the station is named. The station consists of an island platform and a train storage line. History The station opened on 21 February 2007, by the Greek Minister of Transport and Communications, Michalis Liapis. Marousi or Maroussi ( el, Μαρούσι, also Αμαρούσιο ''Amarousio'') is a suburb in the northeastern part of the Athens agglomeration, Greece. Marousi dates back to the era of the History of Athens, ancient Athenian Republic; its ancient name was Athmonon (Ἄθμονον) and it represented one of the 10 Athenian sub-cities. A dot-matrix display is a low cost electronic digital display device that displays information on machines such as clocks, watches, calculators, and many other devices requiring a simple alphanumeric (and/or graphic) display device of limited resolution. Hellenic Train S.A., formerly TrainOSE S.A. ( el, ΤραινΟΣΕ Α.Ε., pronounced ''trenosé'') is a private railway company in Greece which currently operates passenger and freight trains on OSE lines. Michalis Liapis
Michalis Liapis ( el, Μιχάλης Λιάπης; born 8 May 1951) is a former Greek New Democracy politician and minister. Liapis was born in Athens to Konstantinos Liapis, a lawyer, and Antigoni Karamanli (1921–2010). His mother was a younger sister of Konstantinos Karamanlis, who was four times prime minister and twice president of Greece. This means that Liapis is a nephew as well as a first cousin to former prime ministers, the latter being Kostas Karamanlis.
