Pennsylvania Route 371
Pennsylvania Route 371 (PA 371, designated by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as SR 0371) is a long state highway located in Susquehanna and Wayne Counties. The western terminus is at an intersection with PA 171 and PA 374 near the community of Union Dale in Herrick Center. The eastern terminus is at the New York state line in Damascus Township where it crosses the Delaware River on the Cochecton–Damascus Bridge. It continues into Sullivan County, New York, as County Route 114 (CR 114), which heads east toward New York State Route 97 (NY 97). PA 371 originates as a road cut in 1791 and later used for the Newburgh and Cochecton Turnpike in 1806. The new turnpike was finished in 1811 and renamed as the Great Bend and Newburgh Turnpike in accordance for the extension to Great Bend, Pennsylvania. The turnpike was abandoned in 1853. New York State Route 97 (NY 97) is a north–south scenic route in southern New York in the United States. It runs from U.S. Route 6 (US 6) and US 209 in Port Jervis to NY 17 (Future Interstate 86) in Hancock. Its most famous feature is the Hawk's Nest, a tightly winding section of the road along the Delaware River, located a few miles north of Port Jervis. NY 97 intersects NY 52 in Narrowsburg and indirectly connects to three Pennsylvania state highways due to its proximity to the state line. The New York State Legislature created Route 3-a, an unsigned legislative route extending from Port Jervis to Hancock along the Delaware River, in 1911. Pennsylvania Route 191
Pennsylvania Route 191 (PA 191) is a -long state highway in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. The route, a major non-freeway corridor connecting the Lehigh Valley to The Poconos in eastern Pennsylvania, is designated from U.S. Route 22 (US 22) in Brodhead near the city of Bethlehem to the New York state line over the Delaware River at Hancock, New York. Commissioned on April 17, 1961, the route replaced the PA 12 and PA 90 numbers that were in place from the late 1920s to the 1960s. From 1961 to 1976, PA 191 was routed south of US 22 through Bethlehem and terminated at PA 309 in Center Valley. Pennsylvania Route 247 (PA 247) is a state highway located in Lackawanna, Susquehanna, and Wayne Counties in Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at Interstate 84 (I-84) in Mount Cobb. The northern terminus is at PA 370 in Preston Park. The route heads north from I-84 in Lackawanna County and crosses the Moosic Mountains before it heads into suburban areas northeast of Scranton, serving Jessup, Blakely, and Archbald. In this area, PA 247 has an interchange with the U.S. Route 6 (US 6) freeway in Jessup and intersects US 6 Business (US 6 Bus.) in Archbald. Pennsylvania Route 670 (PA 670) is a state highway located in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The southern terminus is at PA 191 in Honesdale. The northern terminus is at PA 370 in Preston Township. The route is a two-lane undivided road that runs through rural areas in the northern part of Wayne County. PA 670 heads northwest from PA 191 and passes through Bethany. Farther northwest, the route crosses PA 247 and intersects the northern terminus of PA 170 before turning west to run concurrent with PA 371 in Pleasant Mount.
