North Towanda Township is a township in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The population was 1,132 at the 2010 census. Geography North Towanda Township is located near the center of Bradford County, on the southwest bank of the Susquehanna River. It is bordered by the borough of Towanda to the southeast, Towanda Township to the south, Burlington Township to the west, and Ulster Township to the northwest. Across the Susquehanna River, Sheshequin Township is to the northeast and Wysox Township is to the east. U.S. Route 6 and U.S. Route 220 pass through the township, crossing at an interchange near the township center. The Republican Party, also referred to as the GOP ("Grand Old Party"), is one of the two major contemporary political parties in the United States. A warren is a network of wild rodent or lagomorph, typically rabbit burrows. Domestic warrens are artificial, enclosed establishment of animal husbandry dedicated to the raising of rabbits for meat and fur. The term evolved from the medieval Anglo-Norman concept of free warren, which had been, essentially, the equivalent of a hunting license for a given woodland. Wells Township is a township in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The population was 814 at the 2010 census. Geography Wells Township is located in the northwest corner of Bradford County, along the New York state line. It is bordered by South Creek Township to the east, Columbia Township to the south and Rutland and Jackson townships in Tioga County to the west. Originally part of Luzerne County, the borough's future location (called Lansingburgh) became part of Ontario (now Bradford) County when it was created in 1810.
