Pelican Lake is the largest navigable lake in south western Manitoba, Canada. It is about long and wide, with a surface area of . Pelican Lake is relatively shallow with a mean depth of 3.8 metres and a maximum of 5.2 metres and holds 108 billion litres when the lake is at a surface water level of 412.0 metres. The lake is regulated, with a normal summer target level of 412.0 metres. The lake is fed by several small waterways, the main one being the Orthez drain. The total drainage area is . The lake has been a popular recreational area since the turn of the 20th century when trains brought visitors, cottagers and campers from Brandon and Winnipeg. Pelican Lake First Nation is located on the shore of Chitek Lake, approximately 170 miles northwest of Saskatoon 115 miles northeast of North Battleford and 120 miles west of Prince Albert. Pelican Lake is a lake located in Oneida County in Wisconsin. It has a maximum depth of . Visitors have access to the lake from five public boat landings. A dam is located on the lake's primary outlet, which feeds into the Pelican River. Pelican Lake serves as one of 21 reservoirs used to regulate and maintain optimal water flow on the Wisconsin and Tomahawk rivers, the process of which is facilitated in part by the Wisconsin Valley Improvement Company. Fish inhabiting the lake include muskie, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and walleye. The lake's water clarity has historically been low, and its bottom composition is 40% sand, 20% gravel, 10% rock, 30% muck. The lake is eutrophic. Pelican Lake is a lake in the Hudson Bay drainage basin in the town of Sioux Lookout and in Unorganized Kenora District in Kenora District, northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is about long and wide and lies at an elevation of . The town centre of Sioux Lookout is on the east shore of the lake, the railway point Pelican on the southwest, and the Canadian National Railway transcontinental main line (a line used by Via Rail's transcontinental ''Canadian'' trains) crosses the lake and runs along the west shore. The primary inflow is the English River which comes over the Frog Rapids from Abram Lake at Frog Rapids Narrows at the south end of the lake.
