''Pehchaan'' ( ur, , lit=Identity), is a Pakistani television drama serial that aired on A-Plus TV from 17 April 2014 to 4 September 2014. It was written by Bee Gul and directed by Khalid Ahmed. It stars Alishba Yousuf, Sohail Sameer and Iffat Rahim in lead roles. Plot overview ''Pehchaan'' is the narrative of Laila, a praiseworthy young girl having a basic existence with no more prominent assumptions separated from discovering love in her arranged marriage, finds her genuine strength and a solid way of life as an independent woman when gotten through the trial of time and relations. Bee Gul ( ur, ) is a Pakistani screenwriter and director. Iffat Rahim, also known as Iffat Omar (in Punjabi and ur, ), née Rahim, is a Pakistani former model who achieved success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Noorul Huda Shah (born in Hyderabad, Sindh on 22 July 1951) is a Pakistani dramatist, short story writer, poet and columnist. She was also the Information Minister during the caretaker government in Sindh. Shah writes in both Sindhi and Urdu. Wajid Qazi ( ur, ) (26 May 1930– 11 February 2018) was a Pakistani actor.
