The song reached No. 2 in the United States, and the follow-up, "Boom Boom Boomerang", reached No. 17. The group is referenced in an episode of '' The Sopranos'', "Do Not Resuscitate", as one of the only music groups that matriarch Livia actually likes, along with Mario Lanza.
