Peel (US Band)
Peel were a band formed by former Ridel High singer Kevin Ridel in 1999 after the breakup of Ridel High. Ridel recruited Steve LeRoy of Ridel High on guitar, Matt Fuller later replaced Steve LeRoy on guitar and finally Joe Higgins (AM Radio) on drums. Peel recorded and released one album titled Blindside' produced by Face to Face singer Trever Keith, track 6 on the album "Facelift" was previously released as a Ridel High song on the 2000 compilation CD ''Happy Meals 2'' ''Blindside'' was recorded in tribute Kevin's dad, Gerald “Jerry” Ridel. Peel were active until 2001, Kevin Ridel then took Joe Higgins with him and went on to form AM Radio in 2001 who remain active until this very day. Tsar is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, with Jeff Whalen on lead vocals and guitar, Daniel Kern on vocals and guitar, Jeff Solomon on bass, and Steve Coulter on drums. They have released two major-label studio albums, two EPs, and a self-released demos collection. Citing their primary influences as Guns N' Roses and the Monkees, Tsar's music is a hybrid of glam rock, power pop, garage rock, punk rock, arena rock, and bubblegum music. Rivers Cuomo ( ; born June 13, 1970) is an American musician. He is the lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist, and songwriter of the rock band Weezer. Cuomo was raised in a number of Buddhist communities in the Northeast U.S. until the age of 10, when his family settled in Central Connecticut. He attended a number of public schools before moving to Los Angeles at age 18. Cuomo played in several bands in Connecticut and California before forming Weezer in 1992. Ridel High
Ridel High are a mid 1990s American power pop band formed in Los Angeles by lead singer and songwriter Kevin Ridel. Kevin Ridel was the lead singer for Avant Garde which featured Rivers Cuomo of Weezer. Ridel High was named in tribute to both singer/bassist Kevin Ridel and the school featured in the movie ''Grease''. The band were a big part of the 1990s LA Scene playing with such LA bands as That Dog, Chopper One, Supersport 2000, Size 14, Summercamp, and Silver Jet. Kevin Ridel is an American musician and songwriter most notable for being the lead singer and primary songwriter of '90s power pop band Ridel High (A&M Records) and 2000s alternative rock band AM Radio (Elektra Records).
