Pedro Manuel Taborda Moreira
Pedro Manuel Taborda Moreira (born 22 June 1978) is a Portuguese former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Club career Taborda was born in Covilhã. In a 20-year senior career, spent mainly in his country's Segunda Liga, he appeared in 68 games in the Primeira Liga, all but one in representation of Associação Naval 1º de Maio from 2005–06 Primeira Liga, 2005 to 2007–08 Primeira Liga, 2008; his debut in the competition took place on 21 August 2005 at already 27, when he helped to a 2–0 away win against Vitória S.C. where his team finished with eight players. Taborda retired in June 2017 at the age of 39, becoming his last club Moreirense F.C., Moreirense FC's goalkeeper coach. He played three and a half seasons in the Romanian Liga I, with FC Politehnica Timișoara and FC Brașov (1936), FC Brașov. Covilhã () is a city and a municipality in the Centro region, Portugal. The city proper had 34,772 inhabitants in 2001. The municipality population in 2011 was 51,797, in an area of . It is located in the Beiras e Serra da Estrela subregion and Beiras and Serra da Estrela Intermunicipal Community. The municipal holiday is October 20. Sometimes referred to as ''town of wool and snow'', Covilhã is one of the main urban centres of the historical Beira Interior region. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
