Pedro Henriques
Pedro Ricardo Quintela Henriques (born 16 October 1974) is a Portuguese former Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football)#Full-back, left-back. He amassed Primeira Liga totals of 222 matches and six goals over 12 seasons, representing mainly S.L. Benfica, Benfica and Vitória F.C., Vitória de Setúbal. Club career Born in Sintra, Grande Lisboa, Lisbon, Henriques joined S.L. Benfica at nearly 16, from neighbouring C.F. Os Belenenses. He played six minutes in his only appearance in the 1993–94 Primeira Divisão, 1993–94 season, a 3–0 away win against Gil Vicente F.C., Gil Vicente FC, as his team won the Primeira Liga championship. The Taça de Portugal (; "Cup of Portugal") is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Placard since the 2015–16 season.
