Pedro Gil Station
Pedro Gil station (sometimes called Herran station) is an elevated Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 1. The station serves Ermita in Manila and is located at the corner of Taft Avenue and Pedro Gil Street. The station takes its name from Pedro Gil Street, which is used to be named Herran Street. Pedro Gil station is the seventh station for trains headed to Roosevelt and the fourteenth station for trains headed to Baclaran. Transportation links Pedro Gil station is well-served by taxis, jeepneys, buses, and UV Express that ply the Taft Avenue route and nearby routes. Taxis and jeepneys stop near the station and can be used to transport commuters to and from Ermita. Taft Avenue
Taft Avenue ( fil, Abenida Taft; es, Avenida Taft) is a major road in the south of Metro Manila. It passes through three cities in the metropolis: Manila, Pasay and Parañaque. The road was named after the former Governor-General of the Philippines and U.S. President, William Howard Taft; the Philippines was a former commonwealth territory of the United States in the first half of the 20th century. UV Express (formerly known as FX, Metered Taxi, and GT Express) is a license to operate utility vehicles, particularly vans, as an alternative mode of public transportation in the Philippines. Baclaran Station
Baclaran station is an elevated Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) station situated on Line 1. Located on the last stretches of Taft Avenue in Pasay right at the border with Baclaran, Parañaque, it is the current southern terminus of the line. The terminal is named after the famous shopping district of the same name, which is located on the borders of the cities of Pasay and Parañaque. Baclaran is one of the four Line 1 stations serving Pasay, the others are Gil Puyat, Libertad, and EDSA. The line's depot where its trains are stored, maintained and cleaned is located near the terminal. Roosevelt Station (Line 1)
Roosevelt station ( ; ) is the current northern terminus of Line 1 of the Manila Light Rail Transit System and was constructed as part of the Line 1 North Extension Project. It opened on October 22, 2010. Roosevelt is one of the two Line 1 stations serving Quezon City, the other being Balintawak. It is located in Barangay Ramon Magsaysay (Bago Bantay), Quezon City and its neighbors, Project 7 (Veterans Village and Bungad) and Project 8 (Bahay Toro, Sangandaan, Baesa). It links to Congressional Avenue and Fernando Poe Jr. Avenue. Pedro Gil Street (formerly Herran Street) is an east-west inner city street and a tertiary national road in south-central Manila, Philippines. It is long and spans the entire length of Ermita, Manila, Ermita, Malate, Manila, Malate, Paco, Manila, Paco and Santa Ana, Manila, Santa Ana districts, as well as portions of San Andres, Manila, San Andres and Pandacan.
