Aaron Pedersen
Aaron Pedersen is an Aboriginal Australian television and film actor. He is known for many film and television roles, in particular as Detective Jay Swan in the film '' Mystery Road'', its sequel '' Goldstone'', and spin-off television series. He has been nominated for many and won several acting awards, including the 2021 AACTA Award for International Award for Best Actor in a Series. Early life Pedersen, who is of Arrernte and Arabana descent, was born and grew up in Alice Springs, one of eight children. He and his seven siblings grew up in foster homes away from their alcoholic mother, Margaret, and experienced much family violence in the home. Carsten Refstrup Pedersen (born 18 May 1977) is a Danish cricketer. Pedersen is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm off break. He was born at Herning. His brother, Michael, has also played for and captained Denmark. Early career Pedersen played three matches for Denmark Under-19s, against Bangladesh Under-19s in 1994, while the following year he played against Ireland Under-19s and Scotland Under-19s. He made his debut for Denmark in the 1996 European Cricket Championship against Italy, in what was his only appearance of the tournament. Carl-Henning Pedersen
Carl-Henning Pedersen (23 September 1913 – 20 February 2007) was a Danish painter and a key member of the COBRA movement. He was known as the "Scandinavian Chagall", and was one of the leading Danish artists of the second half of the 20th century. Biography Pedersen was born in Copenhagen and brought up in the poor area near Vigerslev Alle. He held radical political beliefs. He joined the International Folk High School in Elsinore in 1933, where he met self-taught painter Else Alfelt. They married in 1934, and their first daughter, Vibeke Alfelt, was born later that year. Alfelt encouraged Pedersen to paint, and he first exhibited at the Artists' Autumn Exhibition ('' Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling'') in Copenhagen in 1936, where he showed four abstract works. Abdul Wahid Pedersen
Abdul Wahid Pedersen (born Reino Arild Pedersen in 1954) is a Danish Imam. Personal life Pedersen was born in Sweden, and his mother is Finnish. Pedersen embraced Islam in 1982 after a long search through different world religions. He was brought up as a Christian, became a free-thinker at the age of 16 and was a follower of Hinduism for four years before eventually deciding on Islam, converting in 1982. Before joining Islam, he lived for some time in a small commune in Jylland, at which time he smoked and also bought and sold cannabis. Following this, in December 1983 he was sentenced one year and four months in prison after the drug section 191 of the Criminal Code. Christiern Pedersen
Christiern Pedersen (c. 1480 – 16 January 1554) was a Danish canon, humanist scholar, writer, printer and publisher. Education Christiern Pedersen was born in Helsingør, Denmark. He was schooled in Roskilde and studied from 1496 at the University of Greifswald. He received a baccalaureate degree in 1498 and from 1505 was a canon at Lund Cathedral. He studied at the University of Paris from 1508 to 1515, where in 1511 he received a Master of Arts degree. During his stay in Paris he developed an interest in writing, translating and publishing. At that time Paris was the undisputed capital of the still-new printing press. While considering writing a new Latin-Danish lexicon, he wrote a replacement for the 300-year-old Latin grammar, ''Doctrinale'', written in 1199 by Alexander of Villedieu, and still used as standard in the schools of Denmark at that time. Chris Pedersen (musician)
Chris Pedersen is an American-born musician, best known as the drummer of the groups Camper Van Beethoven and Monks of Doom. He currently resides in Australia. Musical career Pedersen first played with Camper Van Beethoven members David Lowery and Chris Molla in the band Box O' Laffs in the early 1980s. When earlier Camper Van Beethoven drummer Anthony Guess (also a former drummer for Box O' Laffs) left Camper Van Beethoven following their debut album tour in fall of 1985, the group was temporarily without a drummer. Lowery and Molla filled in, also remixing Guess's prerecorded percussion work during much of the recording of their second album, 1986's ''II & III''. Pedersen joined as these recording sessions were finishing, and ended up playing on the track "We're A Bad Trip." Christina Westrum Pedersen (born 9 April 1981) is a Norwegian football referee. She took up refereeing in 1997 and has officiated in the Toppserien since 2005.
