Pebaluna
Pebaluna is a folk band based in Long Beach, California. The group was founded in 2006 after the lead vocalist Lauren Coleman and Matt Embree met and began recording music. They are influenced by a combination of Blues, R&B, Folk, Country, Jazz and Indie Rock. The band consists of four members, lead vocalist Lauren Coleman, guitarist Matt Embree, drummer Jessica Lankford and bassist Jonathan Grillo. History A number of the band members had music careers before becoming members of Pebaluna. Lauren Coleman was the lead vocalist on Gavin Castleton’s album ''Home'' as well as singing and writing lyrics for The Sound of Animals Fighting track "Uzbekistan". Matt Embree
Matthew Embree is an American singer and guitarist best known as the front-man of Rx Bandits. He also has played lead guitar and sung vocals for The Sound of Animals Fighting, in which he was known as "The Walrus". He produced their last album '' The Ocean and the Sun''. Since 2016, Embree has been a touring member of Dispatch (band) Dispatch is an American indie/roots band. The band consists of Brad Corrigan (vocals, drums, guitar, percussion, harmonica) and Chad Urmston (vocals, guitar, bass, percussion). Rx Bandits are an American four-piece band based in Seal Beach, California, United States. The band formed in 1995 in Orange County, California. They have appeared on the Vans Warped Tour, at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and at The Bamboozle. History Early years (1995-1999) Originally known as The Pharmaceutical Bandits, the band began their career by participating in the third wave ska revival of the 1990s. Something Corporate (also known as ''SoCo'') was an American rock band from Orange County, California, formed in 1998. Their last line-up included vocalist and pianist Andrew McMahon, guitarists Josh Partington and Bobby Anderson, bassist Kevin Page and drummer Brian Ireland. Following their formation, Something Corporate recorded demos that were eventually released as an independent, studio album entitled ''Ready... Break''. Soon after, they were signed to MCA Records but were released under the Drive-Thru Records banner for their debut EP ''Audioboxer''. Their first single, "If You C Jordan", was their most successful, peaking at number 29 on the Alternative Songs chart. Jack's Mannequin was an American rock band formed in 2004, hailing from Orange County, California. The band originally began as a solo project for Andrew McMahon, the frontman of Something Corporate. The band was signed to Maverick Records and released '' Everything in Transit'' in August 2005, peaking at 37 on the ''Billboard'' 200. ''The Glass Passenger'' was released in 2008 on Sire Records, sold 49,000 copies in its first week, and peaked at number eight on the ''Billboard'' 200. Gavin Castleton is a musician/songwriter/producer from Providence, Rhode Island. Originally known for his work with Gruvis Malt as keyboardist and singer, Castleton has released nine full-length albums and seven EPs as a solo artist.
