Hartley Peavey
Hartley Peavey (born December 30, 1941) is an American entrepreneur who is the founder and CEO of Peavey Electronics, Peavey Electronics Corporation, a musical equipment innovation and production company. A 1964 graduate of Mississippi State University, Peavey has been recognized by his alma mater as an Alumni Fellow and as the 2004 commencement speaker. He also received an honorary degree, honorary doctor of creative and performing arts degree from Mississippi State in 2004. Hartley Peavey founded Peavey Electronics, one of the world's largest manufacturers and suppliers of musical and professional audio equipment, in 1964 after building his first amplifier in 1956. Since its foundation, Peavey Electronics has been privately owned, and has grown massively from their humble beginnings in Hartley's basement in the 1950s. Henry Peavey
Henry Peavey (March 3, 1882 – December 27, 1931) was the cook and valet of Hollywood silent film director William Desmond Taylor. Peavey worked for Taylor for six months prior to Taylor's murder in 1922. Employment by Taylor Prior to working for William Desmond Taylor, Peavey was employed by the wife of director Christy Cabanne. Peavey was hired by Taylor after he dismissed his previous butler, Edward F. Sands, for forging his signature on checks. Three days before Taylor's murder, Peavey had been arrested for "social vagrancy" and charged with being "lewd and dissolute". Taylor was scheduled to appear in court on Peavey's behalf on February 2, 1922, but was murdered the day before. Jack Peavey
John A. Peavey (born June 6, 1963) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at William Paterson University from 1997 to 1999 and at Southwest Baptist University from 2005 to 2006, compiling a career college football record of 9–43. Peavey played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) with the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos. Coaching career Peavey had great success as high school football coach with a record of 44–4–2. In four seasons as the head coach at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Peavey led the Shamrocks to four state championship title games and won three of them in a row.
