Alfred Peachey (born 1908) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre half. Career Born in St Helens, Peachey played for Atherton Collieries, Bradford City and Torquay United. For Bradford City, he made 191 appearances in the Football League; he also made 10 FA Cup appearances. Allan Peachey
Allan Peachey (18 October 1949 – 6 November 2011) was a New Zealand politician and Member of Parliament for Tamaki. School principal Before his election to Parliament, Peachey was employed as the principal of Rangitoto College, the largest secondary school in New Zealand. He had previously been the president of the Secondary Principals Association of New Zealand, and was an outspoken commentator on educational issues. An example of such commentary is his book ''What's Up with Our Schools?'', which was released in 2005. Member of Parliament Peachey was selected as a list candidate for the National Party in the 2002 elections, and was viewed by many as one of the party's brighter prospects. His ranking on the party's list (eighteenth, above several sitting MPs) was thought sufficient to guarantee him entry to Parliament, but the National Party's overall performance was poor enough that he narrowly missed out. An Australian international and New South Wales representative , he played the majority of his club football in the National Rugby League for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. Don Peachey (born 1933) is an American band leader, accordionist, musician and recording artist who has been performing and recording since the 1950s with The Don Peachey Band, aka Don Peachey and His Orchestra. Peachey was elected to the International Polka Hall of Fame in 2011 by the International Polka Association. Early years Don Peachey is from Burnett, Wisconsin. He started playing the accordion at age 14, taking lessons from the Beaver Dam Music Center. While he was a junior in high school, he formed his own polka band and their first paying engagement was at the Fairwater Civic Center in the Village of Fairwater, Wisconsin in June 1951, the same year Peachey graduated from Horicon High School, Horicon, Wisconsin. James Peachey, 1st Baron Selsey
James Peachey, 1st Baron Selsey (8 March 1723 – 1 February 1808), known as Sir James Peachey, Bt, between 1765 and 1794, was a British politician and courtier. Peachey was a younger son of Sir John Peachey, 2nd Baronet. In 1765 he succeeded his elder brother as the 4th baronet. He was returned to Parliament for Seaford in 1755, a seat he held until 1768. In 1760 he was appointed a Groom of the Bedchamber in the household of King George III, a post he held until 1791, when he was appointed Master of the Robes, a post he held until his death. Three years later he was raised to the peerage as Baron Selsey, of Selsey in the County of Sussex. He died in 1808, aged 84. Lord Selsey had married Lady Georgiana Caroline Scott, daughter of Mary and Henry Scott, 1st Earl of Deloraine, in 1747. He was succeeded in his titles by his son, John.
