Pay The Girl
Pay the Girl is a rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. History Lead singer Jason Allen Phelps first started performing in local venues in the Cincinnati area in the late 1990s, and decided to form a band in 2001. The group put out a demo EP soon after, which resulted in their signing with TVT Records in 2002, who landed a song of theirs, "Clueless", on the soundtrack to ''Swimfan''. Later in 2002, the band opened for Shakira on her worldwide tour. Modern rock is an umbrella term used to describe rock music that is found on college rock radio stations. Pop Rock
Pop rock (also typeset as pop/rock) is a fusion genre with an emphasis on professional songwriting and recording craft, and less emphasis on attitude than rock music. TVT Records (Tee-Vee Tunes) was an American record label founded by Steve Gottlieb. Over the course of its 24-year history, the label released 25 Gold, Platinum and Multi-Platinum releases. ''Pay the Girl'' is the self-titled debut studio album released by American rock band Pay the Girl. It is their only studio album release to date. It was released on March 4, 2003, under TVT Records, which is now defunct. Five producers lent their producing abilities to the album: Matt Senatore, Rich Liggett, Rick Parashar, Wally Gagel, and Kelly Gray. Over The Rhine (band)
Over the Rhine is an American, Ohio-based folk music band, the core of which is the husband-and-wife team of pianist/guitarist/bassist Linford Detweiler and vocalist/guitarist Karin Bergquist. The band began as a quartet with guitarist Ric Hordinski and drummer Brian Kelley. Hordinski left the band in December 1996, and Kelley continued to play into 1997 before departing. The original foursome reunited in December 2008 at The Taft Theatre (in Cincinnati) to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the formation of the band, and again in the summer of 2010 at Ric's studio, "the Monastery", to play the album ''Good Dog Bad Dog'' live, in its entirety. A plough or plow ( US; both ) is a farm tool for loosening or turning the soil before sowing seed or planting.
