Paweł Przedpełski (born 23 June 1995) is a speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career He rode in the top tier of British Speedway riding for the Leicester Lions in the SGB Premiership 2017. He currently rides for Apator Toruń in Poland. He is three times winner of the Team Speedway Junior World Championship in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In August 2021, during the Speedway Grand Prix Qualification he won the GP Challenge for the second time in his career, which ensured that he claimed a permanent slot for the 2022 Speedway Grand Prix. Przedpełski finished in 15th place during the 2022 Speedway World Championship, after securing 29 points during the 2022 Speedway Grand Prix. The 15th place finish resulted in him losing his place for the 2023 Speedway Grand Prix. 2022 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification
The 2022 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings used to determine the three riders that qualified for the 2022 Speedway Grand Prix. The series consisted of four qualifying rounds at Nagyhalász, Goričan, Terenzano and Glasgow and the Grand Prix Challenge at Žarnovica. The preliminary qualifiers were originally due to take place in late May but were delayed to June with a change in venue with Lamothe-Landerron and Abensberg dropping out of hosting a qualifier due to the pandemic. The 2020 Australian Championship, the American Final and the DMU Qualifier were among the pre-qualifying events staged by national federations to determine their nominations. 2021 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2021 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 27th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 76th FIM Speedway World Championship. The series was dominated by Polish venues once again with six of the 11 races taking place in Poland. Great Britain and Germany did not hold an event, however Russia was added to the calendar for the first time. In 2020, six of the eight races had been held in Poland. Artem Laguta won his first world title. Laguta overtook defending champion Bartosz Zmarzlik in the points standings in round 10, which proved to be the pivotal moment of the championship. The 2017 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 23rd season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 72nd FIM Speedway World Championship. It was seventeenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company. The world title was won by Jason Doyle, who finished ahead of debutant Patryk Dudek and former two-time champion Tai Woffinden. It was the first title of Doyle's career, and the first time an Australian had lifted the trophy since Chris Holder in 2012. Defending champion Greg Hancock was unable to complete the season after suffering an injury, competing in only six of the 12 rounds. The 2016 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 22nd season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 71st FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the sixteenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company. Tai Woffinden was the defending champion from 2015. Greg Hancock won the title, the fourth of his career. He won the series by nine points from 2015 champion Woffinden, who finished second ahead of debutant Bartosz Zmarzlik. Jason Doyle was leading the series with two rounds to go, but suffered an injury in his first heat during the penultimate round in Poland and was unable to complete the season. The 2014 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 69th edition of the official World Championship and the 20th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, deciding the FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the fourteenth series under the promotion of Benfield Sports International, an IMG company. 2023 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2023 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 29th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 78th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the second series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. Bartosz Zmarzlik was the defending champion, having won the 2022 title. Zmarzlik successfully retained the title, winning a fourth championship, despite being disqualified from round nine in Denmark. He beat Fredrik Lindgren by eight points, with Martin Vaculík securing the bronze medal. Speedway World Championship
The World Championship of Speedway is an international competition between the highest-ranked motorcycle speedway riders of the world, run under the auspices of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). The first official championships were held in 1936. Today, this official FIM championship is organised as a series of Speedway Grand Prix events, where points are awarded according to performance in the event and tallied up at the end of each season. However, up to 1994, it was run as a single-night event after qualifying rounds during the season, leading up to a big final of 20 heats, where points were awarded according to riders' heat placings and then tallied up at the end. The 2022 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 28th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 77th FIM Speedway World Championship. Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship is a speedway competition to determine the World Championship for national Under-21 teams. The sport's equivalent of the Under-21 World Cup in football, as of 2022 the title is awarded to the winners of SON2, the Under-21 division of the Speedway of Nations. The first edition of the competition was in 2005 prior to its incorporation with the Speedway of Nations. Poland has dominated the competition winning the title record 15 times.
