''Pavitra Bandham'' ( ''The Holy Bond'') is a 1996 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film co-written and directed by Muthyala Subbaiah. It stars Venkatesh and Soundarya, with music composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film was produced by C. Venkataraju and G. Sivaraju under the Geeta Chitra International banner. The film was declared a blockbuster at the box office. Muthyala Subbaiah is an Indian film director. He has directed 50 Telugu films. Known for his films with heavy dose of human emotions, he is sometimes referred as ''Sentiment Subbaiah''. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry (born Chembolu Seetharama Sastry; 20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021) was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
