Pavel Voicu
Pavel Voicu (born 29 January 1973) is a Moldovan politician who was the Minister of Defence of Moldova in the Sandu Cabinet and the Interior Minister under President Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Ion Chicu. He was also a personal advisor to Dodon. He has prior experience in Moldovan law enforcement. Biography Pavel Voicu was born on 29 January 1973 in Frăsinești (now Măcărești, Ungheni) in the western part of the Moldovan SSR. Between 1990 and 1995, he studied at the Stefan cel Mare Police Academy. In the years that followed, he held various positions within the Ungheni Police Inspectorate, the Center for Combating Economic Crimes and the National Anti-corruption Center. He held the position of commissioner of the municipal police station in Călăraşi and Cimişlia and chief of the Buiucani and Bender (in the Moldovan controlled area of Varnița) police inspectorate. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova () is one of the thirteen ministries of the Government of Moldova. It is the main executive body responsible for the Trupele de Carabinieri. Stefan Cel Mare
Stephen III of Moldavia, most commonly known as Stephen the Great ( ro, Ștefan cel Mare; ; died on 2 July 1504), was Voivode (or Prince) of Moldavia from 1457 to 1504. He was the son of and co-ruler with Bogdan II, who was murdered in 1451 in a conspiracy organized by his brother and Stephen's uncle Peter III Aaron, who took the throne. Stephen fled to Hungary, and later to Wallachia; with the support of Vlad III Țepeș, Voivode of Wallachia, he returned to Moldavia, forcing Aaron to seek refuge in Poland in the summer of 1457. Varnița (russian: Ва́рница, uk, Варниця) is a village in the Anenii Noi District, Moldova, located near Bender, Moldova, Bender (Tighina). It is also considered a suburb of Bender. Buiucani
Sectorul Buiucani is one of the five sectors in Chişinău, the capital of Moldova, and the most affluent. The local administration is managed by a pretor appointed by the city administration. It governs over a portion of the city of Chişinău itself (the northwestern part), the cities/towns of Durleşti and Vatra, and the communes of Condriţa, Ghidighici, and Truşeni. It is largely populated by Romanians (Moldovans). The largest Jewish cemetery in Moldova is in Buiucani, it was listed as a national monument in 2012. The cemetery hosts an abandoned synagogue that was destroyed by the Nazis during the Holocaust.
