Paul Stoll
Paul Michael Stoll (born December 14, 1985) is an American-born Mexican professional basketball player for Libertadores de Querétaro of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). He played college basketball for Lansing Community College and University of Texas–Pan American. Early life and college career Stoll attended East Lansing High School in East Lansing, Michigan. He played college basketball for Lansing Community College's Stars and University of Texas–Pan American's Broncs. In his senior year at Texas–Pan American, he averaged 14.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 2.5 steals per game. On March 10, 2008, Stoll was named All-Independent First Team. Professional career Early years (2008–2012) In 2008, Stoll started his professional career with the Mexican team Algodoneros de la Comarca. The Fuerza Regia de Monterrey (''Monterrey Royal Force'' in English) is a Mexican professional basketball team based in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico playing in the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). They currently play their home games in the Gimnasio Nuevo León. Franchise history 2007-2008 The team finished second in the 2007–08 LNBP Northern Zone division standings only behind Lobos Grises UAD, but failed to advance to the Northern Zone Finals after losing to the Soles de Mexicali which advanced to the LNBP final. 2016-2017 Fuerza Regia finished first on the league table and qualified to the playoffs. Basketball competitions at the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara were held from October 21 to October 30 at the CODE Dome. Each team was allowed to enter a maximum of twelve athletes. The 2015–16 VTB United League was the seventh complete season of the VTB United League. It was also the third season that the league functioned as the Russian domestic first tier level. CSKA Moscow was the defending champion, and the team successfully defended its title. 2022 LNBP Season
The 2022 LNBP season is the 22nd season of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP), the top level basketball league of Mexico. The season began on July 12 and ended on October 28, 2022 with Abejas de León got the championship sweep of 4–0 series win over Astros de Jalisco, giving Abejas their 1st Title. This season features 10 teams. The format was changed since last season, since an overall table was used to determine the 8 teams that qualify for the playoffs (instead of using the East and West Districts). Fuerza Regia de Monterrey were the defending champions but got eliminated in the Zone Molten Semifinal by Mineros de Zacatecas.
