Paul Rutherford (footballer)
Paul Leslie Rutherford (born 10 July 1987) is an English footballer who plays as a winger for Cymru Premier club Bala Town. Career Born in Moreton, Wirral, he was brought up through the ranks in Liverpool's academy with his brother John before joining Chester City. In 2005, he signed his first professional contract after impressing in Chester City's Youth Team. He made his First Team début for Chester City against Cambridge United in the Football League Trophy in 2005 and over the past few years has been involved in first–team duties. He scored his first league goal in the 2–1 win over Darlington on 22 March 2008. Rutherford was part of the Barrow side who won the 2009-10 FA Trophy at Wembley against Stevenage Borough 2–1. Moreton, Merseyside
Moreton is a town on the north coast of the Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside, England. It is located approximately to the west of Wallasey. Historically part of Cheshire, it is now within the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. The town was divided in 2004 between the local government wards of Leasowe & Moreton East and Moreton West & Saughall Massie. Moreton is also part of the parliamentary constituency of Wallasey. Guiseley ( ) is a town in metropolitan borough of the City of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is situated south of Otley and Menston and is now a north-western suburb of Leeds. It sits in the Guiseley and Rawdon ward of Leeds City Council and the Pudsey parliamentary constituency. At the 2001 census, Guiseley with Rawdon had a population of over 21,000, increasing to 22,347 at the 2011 Census. The A65, which passes through the town, is the main shopping street. The Soccer Tournament
The Soccer Tournament (TST) is a seven-a-side association football tournament played in the United States, established by TBT Enterprises, creator of The Basketball Tournament (TBT). TST was announced on October 11, 2022 to feature 32 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize. TST is partly owned by Golden State Warriors point guard Chris Paul. The first edition took place in Cary, North Carolina from June 1–4, 2023. Newtown Pride FC won the initial tournament along with the $1 million prize. Format Matches are played on a reduced-size field with slightly smaller goals than normal and consist of 20-minute halves. The UEFA Europa Conference League (abbreviated as UECL) is an annual football club competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European football clubs. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the third tier of active European club football competitions, after the Champions League and the Europa League. First contested in the 2021–22 season, the competition serves as the bottom level of the Europa League, which was reduced from 48 to 32 teams in the group stage.
