Paul Reynolds (RTÉ Journalist)
Paul Reynolds is an Irish journalist. As of 2014, he is the crime correspondent for RTÉ News. Reynolds has been on RTÉ's main news programmes, in both television and radio, almost daily for over a decade. He joined RTÉ in 1991 at the same time as Mark Little, Rachael English Rachael English (born 1969) is an Irish broadcaster and writer. Known for presenting '' Five Seven Live'' for six years, English has also presented other radio shows, such as '' RTÉ News at One'', '' Today with Pat Kenny'', '' The Marian Finuca ... and Sean Whelan. In June 2009, he won the Political and Current Affairs Journalist of The Year from Irish National Media Awards. His brother is Gerry Reynolds, also of RTÉ. RTÉ News and Current Affairs ( ga, Nuacht agus Cúrsaí Reatha RTÉ), also known as RTÉ News (''Nuacht RTÉ''), is the national news service provided by Irish public broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann. (RTÉ) (; Irish for "Radio & Television of Ireland") is the national broadcaster of Ireland headquartered in Dublin. It both produces and broadcasts programmes on television, radio and online. The radio service began on 1 January 1926, while regular television broadcasts began on 31 December 1961, making it one of the oldest continuously operating public service broadcasters in the world. RTÉ Television is a department of Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), the Republic of Ireland's State media, state controlled national broadcaster.
