Paul McKinnon
Paul John McKinnon (born 1 August 1958) is an English former professional footballer who played as a striker. Career Born in Frimley, Surrey, McKinnon started his career in non-league football with Woking Woking ( ) is a town and borough status in the United Kingdom, borough in northwest Surrey, England, around from central London. McKinnon played briefly in the Football League for Blackburn Rovers, making five appearances during the 1986–87 season before returning to Sutton United. In 1991, he signed for Slough Town, scoring 36 goals in 98 appearances during his two seasons at the club. He then returned to Sutton for an eighth spell at the club. Frimley
Frimley is a town in the Borough of Surrey Heath in Surrey, England, approximately southwest of central London. The town is of Saxon origin, although it is not listed in Domesday Book of 1086. Train services to Frimley (on the line between Ascot and Aldershot), are operated by South Western Railway. History The name ''Frimley'' is derived from the Saxon name ''Fremma's Lea'', which means "Fremma's clearing". The land was owned by Chertsey Abbey from 673 to 1537 and was a farming village. More recently it was a coach stop on a Portsmouth and popular Southampton road for about four hundred years. Frimley was not listed in Domesday Book of 1086, but is shown on the map as ''Fremely'', its spelling in 933 AD.
