Paul Mason (1898–1985) was an American writer, parliamentarian, historian, and assistant Secretary of the California State Senate in the first half of the 20th century. Mason wrote the first edition of Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedure in 1935. Early life Mason was born in Idaho and was educated in schools of Idaho and Utah, interrupting education to enlist for infantry officer training, 1918. Received Bachelor's Degree, 1920. Later attended Stanford University, where he submitted a thesis on Procedure in the California Legislature, and was granted Master's Degree in Political Science, 1923. Admitted to Cal. State Bar, September, 1923, and entered private law practice for a time. Assistant Minute Clerk and File Clerk in the Senate in 1923. The Assistant Legislative Counsel, 1925 and 1927 Sessions. Paul Mason (coastwatcher)
Paul Edward Allen Mason (30 April 1901 – 31 December 1972) was an Australian planter who spent most of his life in the Territory of Papua and New Guinea. During World War II he became a coastwatcher, playing a significant role in the Allied fightback in the Pacific Theatre by providing intelligence on Japanese operations around Bougainville. He later served as a member of the Legislative Council in the early 1960s. Paul David Mason (born 3 September 1963) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder from 1984 until 2000. He played in the Premier League and Football League for Ipswich Town F.C., Ipswich Town, the Scottish Premier League for Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen and in the Netherlands for FC Groningen, Groningen. Paul Nicholas Mason (born 1958) is an English-born Canadian novelist, playwright, and actor. Early years Mason was born in London, England. He lived as a child in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and British Columbia before settling in southern Ontario, where he finished high school. After graduating from Trent University in Peterborough with an honors degree in English Literature, and a B.Ed. from Queen's University at Kingston, he taught English and Drama for 32 years at Lakefield College School. He published his first novel in 2005 and retired from teaching in 2015. Career as a novelist Mason's first novel, ''Battered Soles'', was published by Turnstone Press in 2005. Paul James Mason CB FRS (Born 16 March 1946) is a British meteorologist, Emeritus Professor of Meteorology at the University of Reading. He is a physicist who has carried out research in several areas of geophysical fluid dynamics and dynamical meteorology. Most recently he has carried out theoretical and numerical studies of the influence of topography on turbulent boundary layer flow. He was President of the Royal Meteorological Society from 1992 to 1994. Squadron Leader Paul Mason (born 1951), known as Pablo Mason, is a retired Royal Air Force pilot, who was part of the XV Squadron detachment to Bahrain as part of the RAF Tornado squadron during the Gulf War, and subsequently wrote about his experiences. Paul Jonathan Mason (born 1960) is an English man who is known for being one of the world's former heaviest men, weighing in at at his peak Mason was given a gastric bypass surgery in 2010, and lost an estimated . He is the heaviest recorded person from the United Kingdom, a record which holds to this day. When he was in his 20s, he started to eat food as a way to avoid dealing with emotional issues that began in his childhood such as child abuse. Paul James Mason (born 6 November 1962) is an English prelate of the Roman Catholic Church, who previously served as Episcopal Vicar in the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Southwark with responsibility for the County of Kent and the Medway Unitary Authority.
