Paul Kinnerk
Paul Kinnerk (born 12 December 1985) is an Irish hurling coach and Gaelic footballer who plays as a midfielder at senior level for the Limerick county team. Playing career Born in Monaleen, County Limerick, Kinnerk first played competitive hurling whilst at school in Ardscoil Rís. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty when he first linked up with the Limerick under-21 team. He made his senior debut in the 2011 championship. Kinnerk went on to play a cameo role for Limerick over the following few seasons. At club level he has won five championship medals (2001, 2005, 2010, 2011, 2016) with Monaleen. Managerial career Kinnerk has also been heavily involved in team management and coaching, with his first involvement in senior inter-county hurling being with the Clare county team. Monaleen GAA club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Castletroy, County Limerick, Ireland. The club was founded in 1957 and fields teams in both Gaelic football and hurling. Camogie being the female hurling code is also played. With over 300 players playing camogie. 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2013 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 126th staging of the All-Ireland championship since its establishment in 1887. The draw for the 2013 fixtures took place on 4 October 2012. The championship began on 5 May 2013 and ended on 28 September 2013 with Clare winning their fourth All Ireland title after a 5–16 to 3–16 win against Cork in the replayed final. Kilkenny GAA, Kilkenny were the 2012 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final, defending champions. However, they were knocked out of the Leinster Championship by eventual Leinster champions Dublin GAA, Dublin at the semi-final stage and Cork saw them off in the All-Ireland quarter-final. Monaleen Gaelic Footballers
Castletroy (, meaning O'Troy's Landing or O'Troy's Callow) is a suburb of Limerick, Ireland. The town was named after Castle Troy also known as The Black Castle, which is located on the southern bank of the River Shannon, roughly 2km East of the University of Limerick. 2018 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2018 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 131st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. It is the first tier of senior inter-county championship hurling. The championship began on 12 May 2018 and ended on 19 August 2018. The draw for the championship round-robin fixtures was held off camera on 19 October 2017 and announced on the championship draw broadcast on RTÉ2. The Championship was won by Limerick, who were crowned champions after overcoming Galway in the final by a score line of 3–16 to 2-18.
