Paul Hendy
Paul Clifford Hendy (born 22 July 1966) is a British script-writer, novelist, director, producer and filmmaker. In his early career, he was a TV presenter hosting the BAFTA nominated ''Dear Mr Barker'' (BBC), '' Don’t Try This at Home'' (ITV), '' The Disney Club'' (ITV), and the final series of ''Wheel of Fortune'' (ITV). He was a regular reporter on ITV’s '' This Morning'' and hosted ''Stash the Cash''. In 2017 Hendy wrote, produced and directed a short film The Last Laugh which sees three legendary British comedians in a dressing room discussing the secret of comedy and what it means to be funny. In 2018 Hendy produced and directed Mr Sunshine (written by Tim Whitnall), a short film on the life of Eric Morecambe. In 2004, Hendy wrote the novel ''Diary of a C-List Celeb'', a fictionalised account of his experiences in television and the entertainment industry. Dawley
Dawley ( ) is a constituent town and civil parish in Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire, England. It was originally, in 1963, going to be the main centre of the 'Dawley New Town' plan before it was decided in 1968 to name the new town as 'Telford', after the engineer and road-builder Thomas Telford. Dawley now forms part of Telford which is north of the town itself. Dawley is one of the older settlements in Shropshire, being mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086). It is divided into ''Dawley Magna'' ("Great Dawley") and Little Dawley (also shown as ''Dawley Parva'' ("Little Dawley") on older maps). Etymology The name Dawley comes from Old English meaning ''woodland clearing associated with a man called Dealla''. Local government The town's main civil parish is officially called Great Dawley – its parish council is officially Great Dawley Town Council. The Chair (game Show)
''The Chair'' is a American game show that was created by Julie Christie, Darryl McEwen and Brian Bigg for Touchdown Television (now Eyeworks Touchdown). Although ''The Chair'' was originally developed in New Zealand, the first country where the program aired in was the United States. The American version, which was hosted by former tennis champion John McEnroe, aired on ABC for nine episodes from January 15 to March 4, 2002; the American version would be canceled with four episodes remaining unaired of its original 13-episode order. McEnroe would later host the British version, which aired between August 31 and November 9, 2002, on BBC One.
