Paul Hansard
Paul Hansard (12 January 1922 – 28 January 2013) was a German-born British actor on both television and film. He was also a puppeteer. On several of his television appearances on both ''The Buccaneers'' and ''The Adventures of Robin Hood'', he is shown as a musician, playing the guitar and singing. In 1965, ''Das Lied im Grünen: German Folksongs'' was released, featuring him singing traditional German music accompanied by the guitarist Jan Rosol. Berlin
Berlin ( , ) is the capital and largest city of Germany by both area and population. The Heroes Of Telemark
''The Heroes of Telemark'' is a 1965 British war film directed by Anthony Mann based on the true story of the Norwegian heavy water sabotage during the Second World War from ''Skis Against the Atom'', the memoirs of Norwegian resistance soldier Knut Haukelid. The film stars Kirk Douglas as Dr. Rolf Pedersen and Richard Harris as Knut Straud, along with Ulla Jacobsson as Anna Pederson. It was filmed on location in Norway. Plot The Norwegian resistance sabotage the Vemork Norsk Hydro plant in the town of Rjukan in the county of Telemark, Norway, which the Nazis are using to produce heavy water, which could be used in the manufacture of an atomic bomb. ''Gold'' is a 1974 British thriller film starring Roger Moore and Susannah York and directed by Peter R. Hunt. It was based on the 1970 novel ''Gold Mine'' by Wilbur Smith. Moore plays Rodney "Rod" Slater, general manager of a South African gold mine, who is instructed by his boss Steyner (Bradford Dillman) to break through an underground dike into what he is told is a rich seam of gold. Meanwhile, he falls in love with Steyner's wife Terry, played by York. In the United States, the film was released only as part of a double bill. Plot The film begins with a tunnel collapse at the world-famous (but fictitious) Sonderditch gold mine outside Johannesburg, establishing the courage of Slater and his chief miner, John Nkulu (known as "Big King"), and the bond of trust between them.
